People's comments are surprisingly understanding and thoughtful. It's a "though" spot to be in...for which one can only succeed by obsession for hard work, excellence, and actual talent. Its like i have a "in" for a interview for a major job! But I got to ace the interview and show i am the best candidate for the job! If I am offered the role..that's when the test starts....

To be honest. The both of them are just plain stupid. In the case of the feud, the Jamie guy seems more mature. It's not a must to reply, and the Uncle Roger guy just seems to be an attention seeker. However, he's still the moron that brought up that sugar tax stuff. People pick up cigarettes and soda with the knowledge that it is unhealthy, so forcing your opinions on them is quite stupid. Everyone has the freedom to make choices that affects them. Sidenote: Is he the reason why Coca-Cola products are now using sweeteners in place of sugar? If he is, i hate him more than ever.

Has he ever been hired to cook and manage the whole kitchen like chefs do? For me the issue here is him calling himself a chef or whatever his hobby is. It shows lack of respect to the profession and people who have the knowledge and experience. He could have said, training to be a chef. Gordon Ramsay, their family friend, is a chef. Brooklyn is not (yet). He's at the hobby phase. Once he got the knowledge and experience then he can call himself as one.

I've actually got nothing against this kid, but as an actual chef who has had to grind my way to a good position with a decent salary working double the hours a lot of people normally would, I actually find this chef fantasy of his incredibly cringe. He's clearly someone who fell for the fantasy of cooking based on bullshit cooking shows on the TV/ UA-cam (most of which I hate btw). Proper cooking in professional kitchens actually sucks an awful lot of the joy out cooking in many cases for a lot of chefs, hence why so many have left the industry in years since covid. We've got an employment crisis in the industry and basically as a head chef now you're always living with the chance of staff leaving and being left with basically no kitchen team to cook for an ever increasingly demanding audience. That coupled with the prices of food soaring all the time its getting harder and harder every year to actually cost dishes at a price customers would consider reasonable... That being said, being able to go home to your family (if you're lucky enough to have one as a chef with the unsociable hours) and be able to cook for them a meal of the highest quality using all the skills you've learned from your career is very rewarding and males everything worth it (aside from paying all your bills of course.) As far as Beckham is concerned, if he's really that passionate about food, and is prepared to make the necessary sacrifices for his love of food I'd actually love to see the guy going into some kitchen (even mine) and work his way up through the ranks from commis. Get the burns and the battle scars, have some war stories he'd be able to share with fellow chefs further down the line. I'd really respect him a lot if he did that. He can't help the world he was born into and I fucking wish my dad had been the England captain, but it's such a nonsense to walk around claiming you're a chef when you've never even done a service 😂. Industry's doors are actually wide open to him and its a very easy industry to get into. As a industry you meet all kinds of people (quite often people who want to hide from society or don't fit in anywhere else), so im 100% Beckham would be welcomed in so long as he shows he's capable of listening, following instructions and being honest/ reliable. I'd love to see him do that actually for his own sake of having a good dose of reality and also showing the nay sayers that he's no trust fund Tommy.

while it is clear Jamie did this to himself, Uncle Roger has gotten enough clout from this. he doesn't need to keep attacking and making fun of Jamie Oliver. it gets to a certain point where its too much. he nearly has 10 videos of him just roasting Jamie. he got his views and he has done his comedy on Jamie, that's the end and that's all it should end at. i feel like this is just overboard now. there are tons of other cooks out there that are just as bad as Jamie that he can roast. i just feel like Uncle Roger is purposely trying to get a response out of Jamie which isn't what comedy is for. you make comedy cause you want people to laugh, not because you want an angry response back that you get to say "its just a joke bro" to. idk, it just feels weird to know that this comedian has made MULTIPLE videos on this "cook".
